Michael started his career in 1982 with Merrill Lynch in New York City and later moved back to his home state of North Carolina. Today, CWA serves as the focal point for clients, working with CPAs, attorneys and other specialists as needed and warranted. The business model is unencumbered by the inherent conflict of interests that seem to be part of the culture of major investment firms and banks today. Advice is administered without appealing to investor emotions of greed or fear which results in prudent risk management and a logical focus on those things over which we truly have control. Free from the burden of supporting the seemingly endless number of lawsuits, settlements, excessive executive bonuses, etc., CWA is able to work and develop relationships with organizations that truly do work for the best interests of the clients.
